Oh so it’s a greed thing, but not quite a Nestlé level of evil thing, then. Meh.

Since when did they change the logo from a fedora to… this bullshit?
Since when does Facebook have a distro?

Shit like this is why building websites is no longer fun for me like it was back in the 90s and 2000s. There’s way too much security shit to worry about now.
IDK you tell me. I’ve never heard of it.
TIL
But if you use Windows for any reason, I’d still recommend O&O cause it disables nearly every annoyance the OS has. MSEdgeRedirect and StartAllBack fix the remaining problems with Win11 (stops Windows from ignoring your default browser settings, and restores removed Start menu features, respectively).
You can disable that shit with O&O Shutup 10

I thought he died of old age years ago? (fucking Mandela Effect…)
I’m pan and trust me it’s not an issue. You can find anything you want there.
Don’t knock Bing Videos, either. It’s the best porn search engine in existence.

Okay, so the answer basically is that you can’t have multiple people working on overlapping bits of code, not without someone sorting it out first.
Being able to have two different people work on different parts of the same file without causing any issues makes sense, but I also thought there was some magic formula that fixes everything if two people try to upload the file with the same part of the code modified in two different ways at the same time.
Git is not as magical as I thought it was now that you’ve explained it.

The part that confuses me is: How can multiple people work on overlapping bits of code at the same time, and the Git manager (or whatever you call it) just handles it all without breaking everything?

What’s “the remote view”? Never seen that feature in any Lemmy app before. But if it means more comments on Lemmy, I’m all for it.

We’re Lemmings.
Does anyone never use them ever? Multi-monitor setups make more sense to me, but I don’t even use that anymore after switching to a 65" 4K gaming OLED as my primary monitor. Its like having four 32" 1080p monitors arranged in a grid, except without any bezels. Plenty of screen real estate for anything I need to do.

Does it have Stremio and an equivalent to YouTube ReVanced/SmartTubeNext? If so, I’m sold. I’m tired of the slow clunky interface on my Android-based TV. Paid nearly $2K for this fucker and they couldn’t even be bothered to give it a CPU with more than 2 cores, nor more than 8GB of storage space. Like a cheap Chinese Android phone from 2014.

Same. Can’t find shit to watch. Can’t figure out how to add any instances, either. The “add an instance” button appears to be missing in the app or I’m just retarded and doing it wrong.
I’m sorry I don’t follow this company’s actions as closely as you do. I can’t even remember the last time I used Oracle-branded software. (Unless you count MySQL, which I’ve never had an issue with. It just works.)
