I had some F-Droid apps that couldn’t be uninstalled, because they crashed the installer. After the factory reset of that phone, I stopped using F-Droid to avoid that.

deleted my play store review.
an alternative would be Automate. How about that?

I wonder, if the precrime division gets those swipe screens and a ball dispenser as an alert if it detects something 😆

that’s not the lesson to learn here. two bad things don’t make one good.

also everything you offshore is very likely being copied. like if you manufacture products with your secret design in china, next month there will be a cheaper, slightly improved chinese version
thanks for clarifying
do you mean they should object to sync user data with that third party, instead of just objecting to paying them? your comment is very enigmatic.

Spoken like someone who doesn’t have proper backups.
Do you really think ppl don’t break their wayland setup? For example, some systems don’t get a mouse cursor in wayland umless they switch the cursor to software rendering. To do that, they must often set an env var for the wayland process, but there is no standard way to do it. Half of them starts tinkering with their PAM and the others with their .profile . Sometimes this breaks every way to log in.
😯 how many tabs did you open?
I’m not using swap on my work and gaming PCs > 10 years now. I first started to question I need it, when I got a new PC going from 512MB to 2GB. Now I have 20GB in one of them and I don’t think I will ever be able to fill it all up until I get an upgrade again.
this was fast

Clonezilla is more like an app that comes with an OS on a liveCD for convenience, as it’s troublesome to use the very OS you’re cloning.

btw ARM Holdings stocks have entered what I consider the affordable range, since Trump is tanking the US economy. Still RISCy. Just sayan.
I think it would be wise to disconnect it from the internet, wifi and bluetooth; then it should be fine.
you’re not the first. there absolutely are multiplatform launcher scripts. i have used one for installers a few years ago.

idk. i have never used nix. however, i think a specialty of gentoo are global USE flags. it’s a list of compile time options you want to use. they will automatically be used for packages that support them. for example, if you enable the bluetooth flag, all packages you install will get bluetooth support and additional dependencies may get pulled in. if you use -bluetooth however, they won’t get bluetooth support, even if it’s their default. they can also be tweaked indivudually per package, which is more like nix, i think.
