There’s a news story going around about Meta intentionally deleting links to Pixelfed: https://www.404media.co/meta-is-blocking-links-to-decentralized-instagram-competitor-pixelfed/
I’m sure Zuckerberg’s recent comments are helping as well.
Cornelius_Wangenheim@lemmy.worldto Fediverse@lemmy.world•Pluralistic: Bluesky and enshittification (02 Nov 2024) – Cory DoctorowEnglish26·8 months agoNo, but the whole point of Doctorow’s Enshittification essay is that it inevitably will. Cornelius_Wangenheim@lemmy.worldto Security@lemmy.ml•Amazon storing classified US government documents improperly67·1 year agoDocuments marked “not for public release” aren’t classified. They’re what’s called controlled unclassified information (CUI). It’s anything from PII, law enforcement victim records to sensitive (but unclassified) technical manuals. There’s dozens of categories if anyone cares to look at them: https://www.archives.gov/cui/registry/category-marking-list
They shouldn’t be sitting out there, but it’s also not a crime.
