I just don’t use torrents anymore, I use xdcc. I used to torrent, but there is so much ransomware, ISP threats, malware, ect. I still use torrents for official things like Linux Isos or Gimp though. Gen z here

I’ve tried many but waterfox has been my home since earlier this year. it comes configured out of the box with about the privacy settings I’d normally use, as well as my preferred userchrome built in.

Kicked me out after high school. I ended up homeless for months. That was years ago, but the psychological damage never goes away. if I’m at work- I go outside to this area that’s not very populated. there is this small brick wall I sit on top of that’s surrounded by grass and trees. at school- always the library. it’s so quiet and most people are in and out quick, it’s so nice to just sit and listen to music in the dim lighting. at home? my room is my only safe place, so I decorate it as hyperfixatey with my personality as possible.

a lot of instances are really just Redditors who refuse to use reddit. this is especially apparent with the USA defaultism. the best thing you can do is curate the feed with blocked communities and only stay in subscribed, but as we can see here it even bleeds into totally unrelated shit sometimes, so.

Like 50GB of music, probably about 30gb of shows. though I only started downloading shows very recently, like earlier this year.
