There’s a lot of people I know and don’t want here.
Most healthcare systems are stuck in the old ways.
DVDs too. If I never burn another DVD again, that will be A-OK with me. I hate having to babysit those. Give me a hard drive, USB, or server to move data all day.
https://blog.txfb-ins.com/texas-travel/european-cities-in-texas/ someone has mapped out the “European” Texas road trip.
Paris. It’s also a city in Texas.
That seems pretty straightforward if you have experience with that stuff, I don’t have that experience.
Anki is amazing, but it’s not self hosted without some effort.
It was me, I left a bad review for the pizza place I was working for. Owner was pissed, but to be fair I waited 2 damn hours for my delivery and when it still never showed up I just cancelled the order. I wasn’t even getting a deal on it.
I would say you go to the extremes and work back from there for what’s immoral/evil.
It doesn’t even have to be to that extent, just being able to slow/stop that awful content from being uploaded by a bunch of malicious bots. Even if it’s not malicious content, you could still have people uploading spam that eats up the server space.
Yep, there needs to be moderation tools that can be quickly deployed to stop the illegal/immoral/evil stuff from spreading and taking over self-hosted servers.
I’d use Matrix but the last time I jumped on all the chats were dead and the ones I had joined had all been spammed with CSAM.
It’s a perfectly valid way to win an argument, end of sentence.
Password managers are the bees knees if you have to use a password, I do like the authenticator only logins especially if you have an obnoxious number of sites you have to login to. I will say though, that clipboards are tricky especially in an environment where VNC/Screen Connect etc are actively used. Screen Connect especially will happily grab the clipboard contents and share it with the other user.
It’s the clipboard, you shouldn’t put secure items on the clipboard generally speaking. (We all do it anyway)
I was definitely talking about the nation of Japan and their military.
Japan wasn’t exactly a bunch of saints when it came to slaughtering civilians.
They just hit 10 million last week. I’m just making a joke, don’t take it too seriously. I use both.
