Honestly, with Israel at war, I’m amazed we’re not seeing more crazy endtimes nonsense from the evangelicals than we already are. Probably it’s only because the description of the Antichrist in their Left Behind understanding of how it’s expected to go down reminds them a little too uncomfortably of the person currently dominating their voter demographic.

When you say dumb, do you mean like with minimal computers? I think I remember reading about Mercedes or something working on a vehicle that’s entirely mechanical with zero computer integration. I imagine it would be pretty expensive though
