I don’t know, the most whining I see here on Lemmy is from Linux people.

Say, that’s some smart thinking.
Linux people don’t know what’s going on outside their ecosystem.
You don’t need Linux, you just need to get the driver from Nvidia’s website.
If they can’t figure this out, they really don’t belong on Linux.
Zoomers need to learn they don’t need to use Nvidia’s app for this. Just download the driver directly.
This is just a straight up lie lol. Donald Trump levels of nonsense. New low, fellow Linux users.

17·4 months agoLinux doesn’t have this? Man, I guess I’ll stick with windows. That shit is metal AF.
I think this number is far too high.
Yeah, okay. I just installed the free upgrade to 11, which took maybe 9 minutes.
If I had an old computer that wasn’t compatible, I’d just install Linux. It’s so easy even an idiot could do it.
I’m American, and I accept this message.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Bad UX is keeping the majority of people away from LemmyEnglish

The shield is a million times better since you can get around ads and other privacy violations.
Good luck trying that with any Apple mobile or TV device.

Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•One of the only legal streaming sites for anime was hacked (again), and companies wonder why people resort to piracy?English
17·10 months agoWho logs into a pirate site, though? Who gives them their financial information?
As a crunchyroll subscriber, this fucking sucks. They are not doing their jobs.
I’m a Windows user, that also loves Linux.
You’re all going to shit on me, but you’re really only shitting on yourselves.
Some day, you’ll understand. Not today, but someday, you simple dumbasses.
I prefer Windows.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•how much power does your system need?English
23·11 months agoMine runs at about 120 watts per hour.
I actually loved 8, but only after they allowed the desktop experience to emulate what people were more used to. It was super innovative, though, for the time.
Why would anyone want this? I don’t get it. I haven’t needed Linux for anything in years. I actually run docker for Linux stuff (mostly for fun) and it works if you’re competent (same as anything Linux related, it requires work.)
Oh sorry, I forgot where I am. Windows bad! BAD WINDOWS.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Who are the good guys in the Israel/Palestine conflict?
34·1 year agoCan you please show me a single protest of an Israeli citizen against the war specifically because of the genocide?

Seriously, it’s a mess on docker… I’m ready to move on as well.
