  • I use a lot of Google products. I still rate their phones as the best, recently I use a Jelly Star instead purely because i was due a new phone from my pixel 3 but every current phone from Google and it’s competitors that fit my needs are way too big.

I stopped using Google search because in the last few months I’ve started realising it’s harder to find stuff that i want/need, so i now use ddg, which isn’t better than old Google but better than current.

Outside of those though I still use my Google account as my main federated account. Still use gmail (wish inbox was still around for it though), still use chrome, and drive is my cloud storage of choice. On top of that I have 3 Google nest minis and a Chromecast with Google tv.

I may be drifting away slowly but Google still has is teeth in me and at the moment where I’m being bitten I’m fine with it. Doesn’t hurt at all

    • Final Fantasy VII (might be replaced with Rebirth if I end up replaying it a bunch in the future like I do with the OG)
    • Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue
    • Theme Hospital
    • Mirrors Edge
    • Celeste
    • Halo 3
    • Need for Speed Most Wanted
    • Tony Hawk Underground
    • Persona 3 Reload (before this it would’ve been 4 that would’ve been my favourite of the franchise)
    • The Sims 3

I tried to think of games that I keep coming back to, or in the case of Persona and Celeste, ones that stick in my head even years after beating them.

Edit: don’t know how this slipped my mind but a kingdom Hearts game should definitely be here. It’s my favourite game series, I think I forgot to put it down because I was trying to think of which one I would put down as the best of the series.

That’s how I feel with Photoshop. I grew up with fireworks and still to this day I miss the workflow fireworks allowed. I’ve never found an exact replacement for it. It was easier for me to completely soft too a new paradigm and use inkscape, than it was to use Photoshop. I’ve not tried krita yet though but I’m less of a “drawer”, at least at the moment anyway.
