I desperately want a Linux desktop version of this.
Firefox, uBlock Origin, uBlacklist KDE, Dolphin, Kate, LibreOffice, CherryTree Kid3, Flacon, LosslesCut, qBittorrent, VLC Musicolet, Simplenote, F-Droid, AuroraStore
I peel the label off, put the sticky sides together and shred it. If it comes off in parts I just stick those to other documents that will be shredded as well, and shred. The trick is to not gum up your shredder. And remember to oil it often.
Not worried necessarily. But as a suggestion, you could use different email addresses for different purposes. I use 1 address each for;
Some people are just looking for something to complain about because they are unhappy people anyway. That has nothing to do with you. Some people are complete idiots, go read some Amazon reviews. My favorite is about a Rice Paddle (plastic) that you only use with an electric rice maker. One reviewer said it was crap because it melted. Clearly they used it with a regular pan and had no idea what they bought. If you like yourself and the people you care about and respect like you, no one else really matters. It’s nice to be liked, but respecting and caring for yourself is the most important thing to remember. And sometimes (too many times actually), having some people like you can be a liability. Some people are just horrible and will latch on to you and spread their toxicity. It can be a real gift to not be liked by these people. Not being liked is not always a bad thing. The Sun shines on both sides of the planet!
I love these people, I watch every video even if I hate the subject of it because sometimes it goes off the rails with humor.
The Try Channel. Super funny Irish individuals trying food & alcohol. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCabq3No3wXbs6Ut-Pux6SzA/videos Kirsten Dirksen. She is a filmmaker that has many videos on tiny homes, micro apartments, sustainable gardening and so much more. She travels the world to film. https://www.youtube.com/user/kirstendirksen/videos
Nothing ever auto plays on my devices. uBlock Origin & Firefox allow me to decide how my experience plays (ba-dum-tiss) out.
Living through the AIDS epidemic. Watching our government in the US just ignore it like it wasn’t happening. Listening to all the misinformation because no one really knew what it was. Losing so many friends because people had no idea they had it and there was no help. And when the US government (fuck you reagan) finally did step up (only because Rock Hudson was a dear friend of his), did we actually get any help for people.
And then… in 2020 Covid happened, and another GOP idiot claimed nothing was wrong, even though the whole planet was shutting down. And it would just go away, “It’s going to disappear. One day, it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.” We need adults in government. Not these people trying to make wearing a mask, in 2024, illegal.
I learned that republicans would rather let you die before helping anyone. And we as citizens need to shove back really hard if we want to live in an amazing country that cares for it’s residents, not just the ones with money either.
I also do the app testing. Love it for that.
Install F-Droid and IzzyOnDroid repos and you can use it for whatever you find there. I use mine as an alarm clock, note pad, music player and spare camera around the house. Sometimes a browser (wifi) but it’s a bit old. I thought about putting all my recipes in text format and using it as a cookbook as well.
I’m running Kubuntu on less than that on a desktop and it works just fine.
All religions are made up. No one has ever proven that a “god” or supernatural entity exists, no one, ever. It’s all mythology, fiction and “supernatural” nonsense. Ghosts, angels, demons, gods, spirits, pick a name, pick a flavor, none of it is real. It’s like insisting that Harry Potter, James Bond, Tinkerbell, Captain Kirk or Superman are actually real living people / spirits / entities, and they have the ability to control you now and after you die. Just because you, or someone claims it’s real does not make it factual. You are allowed to believe in whatever you want to, but you are NOT allowed to force others to believe that same thing. If you truly believe in your “religion”, you would research it in every way possible, reading pro and con information to get a balanced understanding of what you decided to believe in. You will learn where all the stories of your religion originate from, and that will actually decide what you choose to believe in. Religion is a lifestyle choice.
Not weird. I love naked salad. Sometimes I put it in a burrito and make a wrap.
In a very small jar mix 1 teaspoon of miso paste (I like red, but yellow is a bit milder for most people), add some powdered ginger, granulated garlic and a little black pepper. Then add a 50/50 of olive oil and vinegar (white wine or rice are good, regular is fine, cider is too strong for this). With a spoon, smush the miso until it’s mostly dissolved. Put a lid on the jar and shake it like it owes you money! You can also add 50/50 yellow/red miso for a different balance of taste. Do not add any salt, that comes from the miso.
Stealing all your files to train AI. And they complain that MS Office gets pirated. Privacy and default Opt-Out needs to be a Federal Law. Corporations need to pay millions in fines when they violate that.
So we can sue AI for a fuck ton of cash? Sweet!!!
I’ve given so few fucks, the app refuses to install.
