If Piefed is doing it right, Piefed users will be able to see everything on Lemmy and Lemmy users will be able to see everything on Piefed.
User’s choice should grant access to everything.
Federated networks are not competing with each other, they’re cooperating with each other against silo’d, closed networks run by corporations. Or at least that’s how it should be.

Apps that can’t stand on their own should be deleted, whether it’s nefarious or not.

10:01
“Hi, I have an appointment at 10:30.”“It’s not 10:30 yet.”
“That’s okay, I’ll wait.”
10:07
“Sir? They can see you now.”Whomever I’m meeting, especially their secretaries, are usually put off that I show up early. But once they realize I’m not leaving, they do the math in their heads and realize they should just take me early so I’ll leave early. Win-win for everyone.
I know that Kanji was originally derived from Chinese but I don’t know which Chinese characters are the same and which are different without doing research.
It is nice that in this case the symbols are the same all the way across the board. 5/5 design choice on both counts.
I like it because it reminds me of the Japanese kanji 森 Mori (Forest).
Which is in and of itself brilliant because it’s the kanji 木 Ki (Tree) repeated three times and bunched together.
I know it’s becoming a trend to not let YouTube put cookies on your computer, but I have always gotten excellent suggestions from there.
Just play videos of the songs you like, and the suggested videos start feeding off of that history.
I don’t even log in, it just goes by whatever video is playing now and my recent watch history according to that particular browser.
