there have been some initiatives passed in some states, but thats only half the election. And the people in power benefit from a first past the post voting system, so transitioning out is slow work. It is possible, and it is happening, but there’s not a magic button that says “swap to superior voting method” that a single socialist can press

yeah, OsmAnd is open source, so someone else built it to be released on fdroid, and the original developers have said that they don’t have a problem with that I think as long as they don’t release it on Play/try to sell it

On my second playthrough of Horizon Zero Dawn I decided to swap to my target language just because I thought it would be funny, but it’s actually been a kinda nice experience pausing during dialogue, tabbing over to a browser, and then looking up any words i don’t know
