I don’t think this is true.
I agree that nobody can be neutral, but reporting news should at least try to be. It is basically just telling facts about what is going on in the world. I understand that being totally objective is not possible, but not trying, and reporting facts with an agenda is not a news source that I would take seriously
I know that it is not possible, but actively having an orientation just makes for bad journalism. Reporting on news from both sides, and not sensationalizing news or the way they are reported, should be key factors of any good source of news
News sources should not have orientations. They should be neutral. If they have a political orientation they are not my favourite source at all

uBlock origin, can access the page fine, without showing any promts. I have more or less all filters turned on though (cookie popups, social media trackers etc)
Actually they still track you, they just don’t share the information with advertisers. This is hte “pay or ok” model of blackmailing users to accept cookies and tracking. More or less what Facebook did last year, but Facebook charged a price tag that was higher than what Netflix costs! In the EU, this is not what was intended, and is currently being redefined

The streaming platform does not matter. You can use anything you want. Its the actual act of playing music that often requires a licence depending on where you are. I live in a scandinavian country and have to pay a fee depending on the store size. 100 square meters would cost $60
(Interestingly i subconsciously converted to $… if you’ve worked retail in a tourist destination you must have heard ‘how much is this in dollars?’ but not really the same question for any other currency
Imo the trade off used to be fair.
The search results have gotten worse and you basically need to search for them among targeted ads.
They dropped the promised unlimited SD photos storage offer and took the space for it off the email storage
I just don’t trust them any more not only with their services but also with their targeted advertising and constant tracking.
