Then you would only be on camera leaving the house, not breaking any house rules. This isn’t about law, this is about your relationship with your mother. Windows 10 has support into next year. Personally I use Linux and Windows but I’m sticking with gaming on Windows until support runs out. I think next year will be the year of linux

Yep, not moving on. I still have a lot of things to figure out though. Unfortunately windows is easier for a lot of things but I’m completely done.

I have been switching a number of computers over to Linux over the last few months in preparation for the end of Windows 10. But honestly shit like this that makes me think, maybe Windows 11 isn’t so bad?

This even funnier now that they’ve come full circle to shutting down Windows 10 - Our Last Operating System!

I’m replacing a couple of really old PCs at work with slightly less old PCs and I know they don’t meet Windows 11 specs without workarounds. I’m thinking about taking the leap but I need printer support to work. Otherwise something like open office and a web browser will do what I need. What distro should I start with? I don’t have time to find a perfect fit.

All three are shit. You can’t change my mind.
