Hmm, interesting, how would I start doing this?
I use a Synology NAS BTW, so it already gives me a Synology subdomain to mess around.

A VPN? you still need a reverse proxy/domain to use it don’t you?
Well, once again they still hurt more the “legal” clients, nothing new really.
I still happily have my ad-less YT experience in all the devices I own (as a matter of fact, I just convinced my girlfriend to sideload a YT client to get her a similar experience of mine in her iPhone).
Same, but when I sit and do stuff in my laptop I end up procrastinating even more with it than my phone… Anyway, I block ads everywhere I can, and when I cannot, usually I have a pihole running in the background for that in my local network.
To be honest, I had a lot of fun jailbreaking and tinkering with it, but I can count on one hand how many times I’ve gamed on it since.
I thought this was why we do this, I have done a similar hack process to lots of devices (software side) and most of them are sitting in a drawer.
My only dislike about the mask is that it sucks for people with glasses… If it wasn’t for that I would be using it all the time.
I liked to be allergy-less in my work lol.
Huh, how do you know this? Not that I envy you though.
This is the thing I dislike more about Mastodon, I do not know if Lemmy handles it differently, but I don’t have this problem with Lemmy.
Maybe you meant legal streaming anime?
I use Stremio + Torrentio with RD + Kitsu add-ons
Kodi + Fen Light/Umbrella/POV/Seren/Otaku
Anime TV Android app
CloudStream
And my HDDs are happy to not be full all the time anymore lol.
I don’t know if you are serious, but this made me chuckle.
It is for my dad.
When somebody deletes a post it also goes away from the other instances where it federated? (I hope I’m clear loll.
An US thingy.
Active in my subbed communities and hide read posts, that usually gives me a similar experience that I had with Reddit (and using Boost or Sync for Reddit sometimes makes me forget where I am lol).
Sometimes I sort it to the top 6, 12 or 24 hours though.
Scaled is the default account sort as I find it the best when I am browsing Lemmy on a PC/Lap (which that would be like 1% of my total Lemmy usage, just like Reddit lol).
Come on, you know what I meant, compare pre iOS 7 with whichever Android was at that time… You can see nowadays the release updates are switching and iOS is implementing more features (or features that it should have had since the beginning lol) and Android is closing down more (Google’s fault and no root ofc).
Sure, but I meant, how is it that we don’t have a native tool for this (like Automator) or at least a system app from Google (like Shortcuts app).
TIL Tasker even worked without root lol.
Also, why do we even need tasker to do that? iOS allows you to do that with its Shortcuts app lol, this is a weird moment when Android is becoming more closed and iOS open (in system wide features).
Well, that is why I chuckle when people say there is no reason to root nowadays… Heck, not even banking apps will prevent me from rooting my phone, and my next android purchases are gonna be based in whether it can be rooted or not.
KernelSU looks like a better way nowadays.
Fallout (from the third one on).
If it wasn’t for the TV Show most of my acquaintances wouldn’t know about it… Are you sure Fallout deserved to be in that podium?
DNS challenge? It is the 1st time I read about it.
I suppose in your LAN you need no VPNs then?
