Just wondering as ive been told many os’s online and then told to not use certain one aswell, i feel confused on what linux os to try someday. i come from windows 10 and i always find i need windows on atleast 1 device, and put linux on the “outdated” devices, but i keep hoping around, i cant seem to make up my mind.

look for screenshots of the distros you see here and choose the interface that interests you the best. or look up which one they use. i’m serious.
that’s terrible advice. distro != desktop environment
desktop environments are a way more important point of contact for newbies.
the distro just has to have googleable tutorials and be reasonably bug free.
i don’t disagree with /that/ but i think picking a sensible, truly non-corporate distro as your base is important: hence debian as a truly solid option (or arch if you want rolling release)
