turned one on a half hour ago. still waiting for the disk and cpu activity to mellow out.

expected, though. it is a scrap-tier laptop with slow hdd and win11 that is not completely up-to-date.

  Here I am with a Core 2 Duo that boots in less than 30 seconds on my distro.
