Depends I just have a proxy and open port 443. Its not wide open but open enough that others can use it. I geo block have IP lists filter through it and suricata. Or use a VPN if others don’t need access.

3·2 days agoI wouldn’t hold out an the GrapheneOS phone being any better. I hope I’m wrong but I’m not expecting top tier specs. I’m betting low specs with a high price.

38·2 days agoNo other phone supports the relocking bootloader and that is there requirement. There is no other phone they can support. You might not like their requirements but they are pretty clear about it.

Eh everyone here acting all mighty because of whose behind it but they are still using gnu products. Stallman is not exactly a perfect model, why are people using gnu.

So what is not private about airbags? I’d like to know what people say is not private about them? I guess I’ll have another look at the whitepapers to see, or is it people have no idea how they work and just assume not private.
I mean if you look at the white paper they seem pretty private by design. Unless people are seeing stuff I missed.
I mean I haven’t read the papers in full but they seem pretty private the way they are set up now. Or am I missing something.
What are they going to get an encrypted blob.
Are there even locked Pixels? Who has them.
They still do a lot of development for Linux projects. If that changes Linux is screwed as who is going to replace them.
So moving to a BSD then? Linux is mostly packages written by big tech. People have to eat.

2·14 days agoI just do hairpin NAT sure people well say not the best but it just works and don’t have to maintain a separate DNS server.

Good it should be as what VPNs claim they do is fucking stupid. And if people are dumb enough to think that blocking their IP protects them from tracking then they I don’t know let them spend money on a VPN. I mean tracking IPs hasn’t been reliable in a long time.
