Yeah I don’t think any non public instance has any chance of being blocked. It simply looks like one user among millions to them.

3·2 days agoI still use Pinchflat. It doesn’t exactly do as I like, but I’m mostly just downloading two channels, so it’s okay enough for me.
I haven’t found how to connect Filen’s S3 to BackRest… the only thing keeping me from using the 110 Go I have with them to double backup my local backup on another drive.

Never tried Yunohost, but I use the docker container Transmission-OpenVPN to have a torrent client, and only a torrent client, connected to a VPN. I don’t like my IP appearing anywhere and everywhere either.
I’ve been using Reeder for more than a decade, it does exactly what I need, I dread moving to /e/OS once my iPhone X dies because this’ll be what breaks my muscle reflexes the most.
And that’s after they’ve tried to promote alternatives to themselves, via CHATONS!

2·2 months agoFile browser Quantum is quite the popular replacement, if you don’t need any of the things it hasn’t implemented yet, and especially if you enjoy all the new things it can do!
I can’t seem to prove I’m not a robot on the selfhosted docker install… shame. I’m stuck at “verifying…”
