Drink a bunch of water (as in, as much as you can stomach or up to 32 oz or so) about an hour beforehand and you will really need to pee.

This is what is required when a pelvic ultrasound is performed so that you have a full bladder at first but also need to pee so that you can then be imaged with an empty bladder.

My experience with System 76 a few years ago was similar. Perhaps the single worst purchase of my life. I had to send it back to them to fix the fucked up hardware (it had a loose power socket and a bad motherboard) more than once and each “repair” took months. The first time they sent it back, nothing had been fixed. It was more than half a year before the fancy laptop I got from them was in any way usable.

I’m essentially the same but with more wisdom/experience, less anxiety, and worse health.

Fortunately, the laundry was in the kitchen, so we just used it for storage for things we didn’t use much, like Christmas decorations.

They are one of few bugs that freak me out. Too many times did I have them jumping from all directions…

I’ve only ever seen camel crickets in one location, a house we moved into when I was around 12 or 13. None of us had ever seen one before. We called them spider crickets because at a glance they look very spidery.

You got lucky. Their mode of defense is actually to launch themselves directly at the threat. So we used to have to mentally prepare ourselves before walking into the basement because there would always be at least one spider cricket jumping right at us.

I would recommend not using your regular email address or phone number. I think you might be required to give your real address, though.

Rice bran oil is also great because it’s for a very high smoke point. Great for things you want to char or deep fry.

Sounds like somewhere I used to live. It was such a shame about the neighbors because otherwise it was a great little apartment, very well located for me.

The neighbor directly above would occasionally commit domestic violence and I would hear some screaming and shouting and banging, and at other times would have loud sex in the wee hours, and at other times have insanely loud parties that lasted all night. Meanwhile, the neighbor below me had a chihuahua who would bark the entire time she was gone. This dog could literally bark for 10 or 12 hours a day without a break.

A very noisy fan next to my bed helped some. These days, a white noise device is probably a better option. Talking to them did nothing. Cops either didn’t give a shit or the girlfriend refused to cooperate with charges or whatever because they also did nothing. Situation never improved until I moved.

I disagree with your easy answer. No one should have to wear noise canceling headphones just so they’re not being kept awake by their neighbors. I agree with talking and sound dampening.
