Remember when voice activation left a loophole for hackers to just do stuff by talking to the OS through the speakers?
You could say that that was a “silly oopsi”.
But this is … like that uncle who got way too drunk at the family party and ended up streaking the backyard with fireworks in his hands, … buknaked.
MS board meeting a few years ago:
X: Well, as predicted, smartphones are becoming the primary device and we tried to get into that market but failed.
Y: But what if we brought back the W8 format? Surely people will be ready for the tile system.
X: It’s too late for that, it’s not new anymore.
Y: You don’t suggest…

-W11 sucks so much I was gonna move to Linux regardless and that happens to coincide with a time in my life where I want to waste less time playing games.
Steam has done something amazing, I hope GOG follows at some point.
I’ve always been a very fond gamer.
But W11 as an OS, the state surveillance style telemetry and some other recent developments surrounding MS made me largely ditch gaming in favour of Linux. I mean sure I’ll play a game here n there but I don’t feel like investing hours of my days into the next “big thing” anymore. Linux is where it’s at.
Oh man am I gonna double down on deleting my MS stuff. Gj guys!
