2·1 year agoI have tried using my pc as a hackintosh for the heck of it (it was surprisingly easy) it feels bad like everytime you have a untrusted app you need to allow it in settings and even windows 11 feels better. But this is just my opinion maybe mac os has changed and is better now.
Probably bandwidth and client device power limitations. Maybe they are using an old tv with a jellyfin app so it doesn’t support 4k video files / new codecs.

Have to agree first time whenever I had to run steam it would cause a memory leak and slow the system down ,now I have reinstalled it two more times first reinstall steam games not working and can’t create extra swap ,second reinstall swap worked great ,but steam games still didn’t and then it was FUCKING 32 BIT PACKAGES took like 3 hours to figure that out ,but now it is my dailydriver

You haven’t tried ,have you it is real slow like real slow.
I would say dual boot so you can use windows when you can’t figure something out
