Audiobookshelf. I’ve started using it this year, and I’ve listened to it every day except for a single day since I started lol. Its amazing to keep track of my podcasts and audiobooks. My only complaint is the app doesn’t do autoplay for podcasts but headset media controls work, and the web client autoplays podcasts, but my media controls don’t work. Even with those minor complaints, its an amazing tool that I don’t know how I’d live without again.
To be fair, 20 years ago your computer would have choked doing 1/10th the stuff either one of those apps do today. Hell, I still remember writing a prank program that would lock up my school computers because I made it beep too fast.
Experian does it with every. single. login. Really fucking annoying when you have to login multiple times for thawing and whatnot when necessary.
Security Now is great for getting Tech/Security industry information explained in a way that’s fairly understandable even if you’re not immersed in it.
Omfg, one of my banks did this to me and was infuriating. I was able to call in to fix it and made a bug report, but goddamn, what idiot silently truncates the sign up password but not also the login form?!?
I’d be interested to see if you swapped the cables back if your local interface negotiated to FE instead of GE. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that you’ve got a pair that’s not properly terminated or broken and dropping you down to 100Mbps.

Sorry to hear you lost your community, but I’d be lying if I said this was a surprising outcome. Even back then people were seeing the writing on the wall with ernest’s personal issues, and personal issues are fine and we all have to deal with it. But as someone who has tried to run microservices for friends, I could tell he was less than a year from just turning the servers off.
Here’s hoping you can at least partially resurrect your community. And that ernest is able to get to a good place.
LOL, as a noob I went with caddy, then traefik before settling on NPM. Ironically, all the “QoL” features people brag about just made base configs harder and lead to shit randomly failing.
NPM has been solid as a rock, even if I have to do slightly more work, it’s more reliable and does what I want quicker and easier than the alternative.

I’m only a few years older than you, but I agree. And I’ll also say that some (respectful) criticism at home is ok, and if I’m honest, should be expected.
We’re all not perfect and can’t expect to get nothing but praise or adoration from our partners, nor should it be expected of us. But all criticism should come from a place of love and respect; it’s not your partner against you about a problem, it’s you and your partner against a problem.
Healthy relationships require hard conversations like that, but no one deserves to be in a relationship where they can’t feel comfortable to be themselves without being attacked for it (with some obvious exceptions).

You did the right thing. The only way in hell I would even consider having sex with a drunk/passed out person is if I had their full and enthusiastic consent received while stone cold sober. Intoxicated consent is not consent, and its a shame how our culture normalizes that shit or shames people into thinking that the only way they can do something with a ‘good conscience’. As long as you have your config files and whatever data from the app (both should be mapped from the container to the host), just copy it to the new system and start your container.
I have all my config files on my nas, but too many of my apps run off dbs so I need to figure out a way to backup the local database folder so I can have the actual data on my nas as well as just the configs.
That only works so many times before the authorities can see through the ruse unfortunately.

I like the matrix series, but the two sequels are far from being masterpieces. The 2nd was a good action set piece, but the 3rd one got a bit up its own ass at times trying to fit all the exposition in with the action scenes.
