Works pretty good but basic error handling is missing. I made a issue and a PR for it already. My first try at streamlit.

But you can already see the hurdles of large instance like lemmy.world.
The costs are so immense (probably because of some unoptimized code), the software isnt “ripe” enough that it can be left alone for few months and have it run smoothly. It needs permanent monitoring and maintenance. And that doesnt even go into the moderation issues.
Sadly thats fediverse, instance come and go as they like. Because behind them are humans that do this in their freetime ( most of the time out of their own pocket ). Big respect to everyone hosting a federated instance.
Yeah what you are directly talking is some sort of SSO login for each software.
It will be difficult to implement and pretty much at the end of the list for the software you want to implement.
Users most of the time dont want to get identified ( some are here because of the privacy ) and if you want to get identified you can just use PGP signing.
He already has his name in his Display name.
I guess in an agreement to those services that they are allowed to be used
Same thought here, why uploading it to proton drive? github isnt evil that they trying to snatch that code or whatever. If you are so cautious then ramp up a gitea or gitlab self hosted instance up.
Could i ask how can you be one of the reddit exodus users if your account is 2 days old?
If you wanna leave lemmy do it on your main account to proof you are one of the over a year old accounts.
That we can salute and press F to the fallen user.
Still tpm 2.0 should never be required in the first place. But yeah windows is already a shitshow
I think you forgot to mention if the hard drive is encrypted than your statement is true ( in the case for example bitlocker…) but if thats not the case then anyone can just force permissions for that drive and read and write anything.
Bitlokcer would be default active on new windows 11 devices if they all had tpm 2.0 chips ( most of the windows 10 users dont have that featzre ) so bitlocker is out of that case.
No they arent. They are obfuscated at best. The images are just saved without .jpg extension, and slapping one behind is enough
Oh no who would have guessed that screenshoting and saving them unencrypted in an unprotected area in where confidential screenshots with passwords can be grabbed by any script kiddie.
And you are the grammar end boss
Its the final boss.
You need to fight the windows update!
