I played it overnight, I was alone, and it thunderstormed that night around the time I reached The Sorrow. I couldnt stop. It was so good and I was into it. Nothing else has been more memorable.

I saw a comment recently online regarding publishing an indie video game that “nobody played” where people noted you set out to do your goal that very few people ever complete. You published. You’re a winner. You accomplished your feat.

I had similar stuff with music once in my life. It never went where I or others might have hoped. But we recorded and made albums. We played tons of shows. We had a few fans. We opened for big names we loved. I feel like a winner too.

I’m not really saying this to reply to you. I’m not even sure you need to hear it. But someone out there does. Don’t let others define what success or winning is. By setting out to accomplish something, and doing it, that’s a winner already.

And to asshats like that, YOU’RE the asshole for not lightening up and getting over yourself.

As my dad said, he’ll answer to god when he’s dead. So that means he doesn’t answer to me or anyone else he’s been a complete p.o.s. to. Convenient.

I grow tired of how all the Pixar style movies use the same facial visual gags. They’re all kinda samey.

…and he won, and so Roman Catholicism was born cause he said so.

Later, some dude was like “screw your catholicism, I don’t like my wife any more, I’ll go make my own church with hookers and blow and divorce my wife,” and so the Church of England was made cause he said so.

I may have oversimplified these stories but pretty sure that’s about it.

I think 36 Crazyfists were underrated. They sort of made it, but never really got huge. I also think their music only got better and their last 2 albums were amazing.

Okay, but also, who cares about internet votes? I never vote and I never look at my votes. I don’t understand why people care about this or why it’s even a feature. It doesn’t work, people are clearly stupid about it, why does it exist.

It’s just blowing money to go exist in other places. Some people do it to simply avoid boredom. I’d argue it could be a hobby if they are putting effort into learning or collecting things or something.

Traveling and just being there is not a hobby. Traveling to, for example, visit certain types of sites or museums, maybe build a collection of photos or memorabilia, could be considered a hobby.

I always find stories about carbon emissions exciting. The reason why a Malthusian view of things hasn’t panned out in recent centuries is because of technology. I am always interested in if humans can find a breakthrough technology that basically does something with carbon emissions that could eventually be done on a scale to reduce climate change. Unlikely, but fun to imagine.
