What did you have to change?
Even the first reply (and everything after that, too) by them is awful. Heck, their first reply is far worse already to what you linked.
And there’s diodon which works excellent in Cinnamon, GNOME! (and I suppose KDE, too)
Doesn’t Bcachefs, a well?
I can see Mint just adopting “Latest Ubuntu LTS, work latest Linux LTS” as their choice strategy. They’ve usually preferred older but more stable kernels and drivers before, anyway.

But Windows just lost
It’s nice to have any device with access to my Lemmy account also have access to my bookmarks.
… So I can ignore them all those devices simultaneously 😅
I bookmarked it in Lemmy, available through both my PC browser and my mobile app. But I’m not sure if I can make bookmark folders/groups there.

If you want to recommend a system that runs decently out of the box and runs a lot of software, recommend Mint
OP already stated they tried and disliked Mint.
I mean, given the lack of theatres in the country, and the fact the movie won’t be released outside of theatres for a while, this is really just a famous case of piracy being an availability issue.
Well darn, your 2013 MacBook Pro with elementaryOS does beg to differ.
