Allowing them to take our information even when we did not give it freely is even worse.
Advertising via Meta is even worse than that, but small businesses have very little choice between Meta and Google for that. Buying something sold by Meta is best avoided entirely.

Corporations have also already proved very difficult to actually hold to account. They can basically do as they please, with relative disregard for any consumer protections that may already exist. It’s not good, but it can get worse.

WFH is one laptop and 2 screens. Email is on Portrait mode screen. That one is also great for reviewing long-ass PDFs. It’s a FUCKING DELIGHT I tell you.
