Wholeheartedly agree. But the alternative is like a neck massage with a chainsaw, by a trained torturer. It costs money.

From what I’ve read, he was looking up rally schedule of both Biden and Trump. It just so happened that Trump was nearest.

I guess you’re an animal too, just like the rest of us.

Similar here, except I’d go for John Petrucci or David Maxim Micic.
Alternatively, I’d go broader and steal all music talent from Jordan Rudess. Amazing keyboard player, and he’s pretty awesome on guitar too.
Should’ve been a kit car
Something I quickly learned after I started running is that I find running boring as shit. Find yourself some earbuds that you can run with and have some sort of entertainment during. Podcasts was my choice for 5km runs.

I don’t have a solution for you, but to get you started, run xev and see which keycode event is triggered by the keypresses.
Dementia Don sends his thanks.
Might be relevant, but I find that American restaurants are generally louder compared to European ones.
Side note: And why is ithe music always fucking neo-country? Sure, I’ve mostly been to Texas, but I have several albums in my CD collection as a testament to y’all making good music too.
Not that I can recall, but I was close pretty recently. There was a minor snafu about a hotel booking I made recently, one that in theory should be a pretty simple fix.
I contacted the chains booking department which usually handles those things, and after serving BS excuses they turned out to be utterly useless. I instead called the front desk of the specific hotel and there too I got an excuse that I at least consider valid: “Yes, it should be possible to fix this, but that’s probably something I should talk about with the manager, as I’m pretty new here”. She then proceeded to tell me the name of the manager, and the time when she would be available.
I called the front desk later as instructed, and talked with the manager. She said that normally booking handles these things. After politely airing my frustration with booking, she had it fixed within five minutes while I was on the call. I thanked her, and asked her to also thank the new hire who did what she could earlier.
I didn’t use it myself, but the parents of a friend of mine did. They had two macs of different generations.
On the newer one we played command & conquer (although not being able to right click to cancel placing a construction was annoying).
We didn’t use the older one a lot, except that the Screensaver was also a game of some sorts, kind of a cross between Asteroids and some 2d space exploration game.

Plot twist: you work at Home Depot.
What’s stopping you? You do you.
I’ve actually considered it, mainly because it’d be useful for me to document what I do and how while keeping my hands free.
My job involves a lot of hardware troubleshooting, and when people ask me a year later when and how some specific issue was resolved, it’d be a whole lot easier to check the tape.
Yes, taking notes is possible, but when you’re troubleshooting an industrial system, and downtime costs 40.000$ per hour, updating your diary isn’t exactly a priority.
I don’t really have much of a privacy aspect to worry about - the only time it’d be beneficial for anyone would be while doing field work, and at that time I usually have 10-20 people watching and waiting anyway.
I haven’t found a durable camera that I can wear discreetly, though.
