I’m not your bruh, bro…
i think you’re right. thanks.
I haven’t. Only a disposable mail address.
could someone please point me to a “self-host-beginner-tutorial”? I had pretty good ICT-knowledge but when it comes to selfhosting my knowledge ends…
what you’re looking for is called RVC. It’s integrated into some voice-cloning github projects but i don’t use it. Here for example: https://github.com/codename0og/rvc-realtime-voice-changer
Don’t use that repo, it’s old/broken. Use one of these two:
“Windows 10 GAC (General Availability Channel) (i.e. Home, Pro) will reach end of support on October 14, 2025. So, if your hardware doesn’t support Windows 11 then you might wanna use Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 since its supported until Jan 13, 2032” from https://massgrave.dev/windows_ltsc_links
No it’s Win that makes debugging and keeping a system clean a pain. Linux is peace of mind compared to MS. Just go with Kubuntu for a desktop-pc (imo).
installed OO for years here too and everything switched to green except disable app access to file system, smart-screen and mic…
That’s how far i got too, maybe it’s the ms-defender?? thingy since i recently uninstalled mwb-antivirus. What bothers me is the svchost. Updates are paused and every checkbox is off, this machine goes online very rarely.
i use these two all the time for tts:
https://github.com/JarodMica/ai-voice-cloning / https://github.com/gitmylo/audio-webui
use the search on https://gfx-hub.co (no virus found, goes online just to download the AI then you can use it offline).
The only Windows PC at my home is now fully offline 24/7. I just need it for Davinci Studio, Daz Studio and Marvelous Designer. If they only could get a Linux version to work I could live life De-Microsofted.
