Publicly funded internet? I don’t know about that. I pay an internet bill.
Go and be free! Like the town experiment that failed!
There is a great book written about the Free Town Project if you are interested in learning more. It is called A Libertarian Walks Into A Bear. I recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about the Liberty Movement in New Hampshire.
They discuss it at length in the book, but long story short, once they launched the Free State Project, that is where the efforts were focused. The New Hampshire Liberty Caucus now holds about 80 seats in the state house. They just eliminated Vehicle Inspections this year!

23·21 days agoYes and no. In the mid 2000s bears began to encroach on Grafton residents and attack people. In response, some residents hunted the bears.

13·21 days agoI looked it up. It seems to be pretty rare.
Fatalities due to black bear attacks have been almost non-existent for centuries, with the last recorded instance occurring in 1784.
While actual attacks are uncommon, reports of human-bear conflicts are more frequent. These conflicts include sightings, nuisance behaviors like bears accessing trash, or property damage.

14·23 days agoWell… that is the point of the seat belt debate. It is not about whether wearing them is safer. They are definitely safer and most people in New Hampshire wear them.
The real question is whether governments should be allowed to force citizens to do something for their own safety, or do we have free will to choose?

01·2 months agoThat article refers to the Free Town project, which was a precursor to the Free State Project. That writer seemed to think having less government was bad 🤷 Here is a link to the book, it’s a good read.
Today, we have pro-liberty state representatives representing about 20% of the state house. There’s lots of liberty events and groups throughout the state. I assure you it’s working. 🙂

Not a joke. Here is a local news video about it. https://www.wmur.com/article/nh-house-pass-bill-vehicle-safety-inspections-0325/64080031
