You’d do far, FAR more good donating to your local mutual aid organization, food bank, or directly to the homeless than you would donating to a political party who stand for the status quo that allowed fascists to rise.

Our last election showed that the winning majority of the voters in America are either extremely mislead and gullible or pro-capitalist and potentially or overtly fascist, where does that leave us?

Since you won’t answer the question, I’ll answer it for any other readers here. Per the Liberal Party of America’s wiki page:

In the economic area, the party strongly supports capitalism, with its platform “[rejecting] any unnecessary impositions on the right of individuals or businesses to trade freely and/or to maintain the livelihoods of their choosing.” It strongly supports private property and a decrease in government regulation of the economy.

Awesome, that just about perfectly lines up with the MAGA platform and the desires of the tech billionaires. So hyper-capitalist, the very thing that allowed the fascist party to rise to power.

            What else is in there?

Liberal Party USA believes that, while the environment must be protected, protection “must be balanced with individual and economic freedoms.”

That sounds totally sane in the face of alarmingly fast climate change.

They’re not even close to a solution to our problems, and would do nothing to address wealth disparity or corporate monopolies. They’re just a combination of democrats and ‘classic’ conservatives.

The GOP currently are pro-mercantilism and pro-protectionist and anti-international trade. They are not free market at all. The Liberal Party USA is for free market capitalism. Liberals in most countries are pro-free market. I don’t agree with deregulation of the economy. The economy and large corporations should be regulated.

Fascists are a violent and insane ethnic collectivist cult. We are not violent. We are not an insane ethnic collectivist cult. Fascism is an evil and insane cult-like ideology. The Liberal party would probably do much better if we had a proportional representation system, and citizen united was banned. Oh, and publicly funded elections.

How are the Liberal party “classic” conservative and Democrat?

The Liberal Party USA is free market capitalism.

Capitalism inevitably breeds sociopaths that attain power through wealth accumulation, which eventually leads them to backing fascist parties to maintain power in the face of working class rebellion.

How are the Liberal party “classic” conservative and Democrat?

Their platform is a mix of classic conservative ideas; small government, deregulation, lower taxes, no or very little social safety nets, privatization under the guise of efficiency, cost cutting, and free market ideals.

And a mix of some progressive Democrat ideals; Acceptance LGBTQ+ people and Bodily Autonomy.

Basically a Classic conservative without the hyper-traditional values/religion, allowing them to keep the capitalism and no welfare, while not being particularly bothered by their gay neighbor while they light up a joint.

We would probably do much better if we had a proportional representation system, and citizen united was banned. Oh, and publicly funded elections.

I don’t disagree, but without eliminating capitalism, all of those are just temporary band-aids to a system that will auto-corrupt given a long enough time span, it’s just kicking the can down the road.

I much prefer left-wing libertarianism as something that properly fixes the problems society faces in both the short and long term.

Like I said I don’t agree with deregulation of the economy. How are they conservative? What are they trying to conserve? What political party is progressive on everything? The Liberal party is for changing the current status quo in a dramatic way. That’s progressive not conservative.
